Mad Mex

Mad Mex are located next to strike bowling in the Macquarie Centre. Crossing the road from Macquarie uni will take you directly to their shopfront. Mad Mex offer fresh Mexican cuisine such as burritos, quesadillas, nachos and tacos, both soft or crispy. A meal can easily cost you less than $25, with a regular burrito with most fillings (Guacamole is $2 extra) setting you back around $13 [w/ guac], depending on your filling choices.

Personally, Mad Mex the go to lunch option when I have a break at University, mainly because service is quick, with a subway-style, pick-and-choose format of ordering. Seating is provided for eating in, however it is constantly busy, so takeaway is always the best option. If you choose to add a drink, such as a bottle of soft-drink, the total will remain under $20 with a burrito. Mad Mex are also licensed, so if you and your friends want to have a beer with your food, then by all means go for it.

Quality wise, the food is always fresh and the food is always consistently delicious, quick and easy to eat. The food is also incredibly filling so it's perfect if you have a long day without many opportunities to get food throughout your day.
