Bacco Re, Enfeild
Monday at Bacco Re, Enfeild - All you can eat for $25, thats right, $25!!!
Well on mondays at Bacco Re you get as many pizza's and pasta's as you would like for $25! And sounded like the perfect venue for our midweek uni friends catch up!
The venue was perfect. It was casual enough that you didn’t have to spend hours getting ready, but it also wasn’t street food which meant you could spend that extra few minutes dolling yourself up. It wasn’t too busy nor was it too loud and you didn’t have to scream to hear your friend at the other end of the table. Bacco Re is also very local and is easy to find parking, so the venue definitely got a tick from me.
The service was also very fast! Even though we ordered like 12 pizza’s for the 10 of us (it's all you can eat, would you expect anything less), the pizza arrived hot and very fast, which meant we weren't waiting on empty stomachs very long! The staff was always willing to help and we definitely felt very welcomed at the restaurant (even as a loud, obnoxious group of teenagers)!
The food, was nice! the pizza fresh and topped with lost of the produce, whilst the base thin and crispy! I was a bit more disappointed with the pasta particularly as they didn’t serve my favourite Fettuccine Boscaiola, but my Bolognese was still really nice!
In saying this, I wouldn’t call Bacco Re my favourite italian restaurant! The food was nice, but not exceptional & the best I have ever had. However, what was fantastic was the price tag, the venue, the service and the ability cater for a large group of friends on a monday night!
And then again if its all you can eat for $25, so I am okay with the food not being completely mind-blowing!
