Bondi Wholefoods
This week I have been trying to stay relatively
healthy and veer away from meat just to see how my body reacts. It seems to be
working well so far, but a trouble I have been faced with is eating out! My
friends keep inviting me places to go out for breakfast, lunch and tea but I don’t
wanna be that chick ordering a salad!
Walking around North Bondi however, you are sure to
have these worries blown out the window. An assortment of cafes litter the
pavements having you spoiled for choice. There is one in particular however
which ticked all my boxes as well as boxes I didn’t know I had.
Bondi Wholefoods believes that there is no substitute
for optimal health. That’s why they are committed to provide the most naturally
sources and nutritionally superior foods. They want happiness and well being
for their customers and their carefully crafted menu and window treats emulate
this!
This little hub draws all the locals as it is hidden
in the quiet area of Bondi, which is a pleasant break from the hustle and
bustle. It gives you an option to sit outside in the courtyard, out the front in
the Bondi sunshine or inside the tall ceiling, homey café.
Not only is the menu diverse, it won’t send you broke!
And offers many variations to those with diets that need close monitoring. It
was brunch when I sat down and dined at BWF, and I had just been on a walk so
was therefore keen for something filling but also fresh and full of different
flavours.
I skimmed
past the acai bowls, vanilla pancakes, all day brekky and smoothies and decided
upon the Sweet Potato Wrap. This came with oven baked cumin crusted sweet
potato, lime & coriander brown rice, black beans, fresh tomato, vegan
cashew sour cream & chipotle salsa. All served in a wholemeal wrap with the
option to have it toasted, in which I did.
This authentic
and completely TASTY meal only cost me $13.90! so my lunch and a coffee
together for the outing easily under $20. I even had enough change for one of
the vast selection of raw balls at the counter. 10/10 wound recommend!
